Range of 40 km per hour approved products (UTAC France)
The future generation
Research, development and approval.
Recently, French law has allowed agricultural machinery to drive at 40 km per hour. To benefit from this considerable improvement in agricultural transport, a powerful tractor is not enough, it is necessary to have the appropriate trailer. New technology used at that speed is increasingly similar to the technology found on road vehicles. At 40 km per hour, braking strength is considerably increased and the tractor alone cannot deal with the additional braking effort.
That is why Colaert Essieux has developed a full range of products that perfectly satisfies applicable regulations. The whole range of 40 km per hour UTAC France vehicles is the result of intense work conducted by the company's Research and Development department. To assemble these systems, technicians have built a test vehicle, a genuine working laboratory, used to finalise axles and suspensions prior to approval.
All approved 40 km per hour UTAC FRANCE running gear is available through turnkey systems. Colaert Essieux can deliver a package consisting of vehicle, suspension and axle approval together with the support of technicians providing the company's know-how.
There are several reasons for choosing an approved 40 km per hour vehicle:
- Braking adapted to real conditions of use
- Better modulation loaded and empty
- Safety in the event of a break in the coupling system or leak in the braking circuit
- Better, steadier braking
- More comfortable travel at 40 km per hour rather than 25 km per hour
- More efficiency, more time-saving
