Colaert Essieux also offers a vast choice of mechanical, hydraulic or pneumatic suspensions perfectly satisfying each type of use. These suspensions can be fitted with the whole range of axles: fixed or self-steering. Colaert Essieux suspensions can be totally customised, as well as axles, it is possible to choose the wheel base, width of the spring axle spread, type of spring, type of assembly (normal or underslung) etc. Our technical department is also available to satisfy the most specific requests with the best technical solution.

Mechanical suspensions: from 4 to 50 tonnes

Available in half-tandem (1 axle), tandem or bogie (2 axles), tridem (3 axles) in normal or underslung assembly with standard or parabolic blade springs.

Mechanical suspensions using blade, multi- or parabolic springs offer simple operation and use. Whether pre-assembled or in kit form, they are designed to your specifications to fit naturally under the vehicle's chassis. Bodies are recommended for large suspension movement whereas half-tandems, tandems and tridems are the best compromise for combined road and agricultural use.

Hydraulic suspensions: from 13 to 29 tonnes

Available in half-tandem (1 axle), tandem (2 axles), tridem (3 axles) in normal or underslung assembly.
For optimal driving comfort on roads and in difficult off-road conditions, at high and low speed, the use of hydraulic suspension is the best solution. With large suspension movement, hydraulic suspension guarantees comfort and stability of the towed vehicle in all terrains. It can be used to adjust vehicle height and correct sloping effects.

Pneumatic suspensions: from 13 to 29 tonnes

Available in half-tandem (1 axle), tandem (2 axles), tridem (3 axles) in underslung assembly.

Pneumatic suspensions are adapted to vehicles requiring good stability on the road. They are not recommended for agricultural use. Pneumatic suspensions can be used to lower or raise vehicle height, compensate for road faults and correct sloping effects.
