Electronic Controlled Steering Axle

The SmartTronic system allows electronic control of steering axles. With the use of a “gyroscope” type position sensor, there is no longer a mechanical connection between the tractor and the trailer, thus making it easier to set up and change the tractor. With the control integrated into the tractor's ISOBUS system, simplicity and flexibility of use are guaranteed.

The Teknoax is an axle with a tubular, monobloc and seamless body. This new technology enhances safety, endurance and the performance of your machines, because agriculture is a job where these abilities are necessary!

Dual-Function axle

One axle for 2 types of steering

The Dual-Function system allows the axle to be connected in both simple tracking and forced tracking. The manufacturer is free to choose between the 2 versions without changing the cylinder. It is even possible to control the axle manually when it is in self-steering thanks to the Easy Drive System.

Mechanical suspensions with rods

Robust mechanical suspensions

Mechanical rod suspensions are designed to support heavy loads while being comfortable on the road and efficient in the fields. Fully customizable, they can be adapted to any type of trailer, tipper, slurry tankers, silage trailers, etc. Enduring and robust, they will definitely be the right choice for your vehicles.

Alpha hydraulic suspensions

The extreme hydraulic suspensions

The Alpha suspensions are designed for vehicles carrying heavy loads and requiring significant axle travel, while ensuring good behavior on the road.

The connection of the axle to the vehicle chassis is ensured by a triangular support. The whole thing forms a single structure guaranteeing both significant rigidity of this part as well as maximum wheels travel. It is an ideal suspension for works tippers, high-capacity slurry tankers, special heavy machines, etc.

Self-steering control system

The advantage of a simple self-steering axle with the possibility to control at low speed

The wheels are manually steered to facilitate the operations in short space using the tractor oil distributor. The system automatically passes to the self steering mode at a defined speed <10 km/h. Over the defined speed the system can’t be commanded manually for safety.

European and French Approvals

European certification for all your trailers!

Colaert Essieux now offers a complete range that perfectly corresponds to European braking regulations. In fact, all EU2015/68 approved running gears are available in a “turnkey” package.
